MISSION
The Euro EV Race 2010 draws the attention of the people, economy and politics to innovative and advanced electric vehicles. A roadshow of the latest technologies and infrastructures in the field of batteries, controls, motors and lightweight autobodies, which can master a daily total of around 400 kilometers to the borders of the load.
Up to 10 teams from around the world will be in the challenge with their electric vehicles across Europe from October 3rd to 19th, 2010 – of course with electricity from renewable energy. The starting point will be the inner center of Vienna, the arrival point and finish of the race will be on the occasion of the opening of the eCar-Tec Munich Trade Fair. Besides the travel time – the most cruicial aim of the race is the efficiency of energy.
TEAMS
- LohTec team from Austria with the “Splash”. It reaches over 100 km/h top speed. 200 km range are no problem at all.
- The Alva XL-e by EVservice will take part in the race as safety car and is equipped with a special first-aid package. Besides all tecnical equippment, the Alva XL-e also reaches a longer range than the standard model.
